GROVE HOME

Welcome to the GROVE College website. GROVE is a microcollege of the humanities that, as its Latin motto says, seeks to educate for the sake of reason, order, and truth. All instruction is online, all classes are capped at five students, and all administrative duties are handled by a director and assistant director who can be easily contacted by students, learning coaches, preceptors, and mentors.

GROVE College is a "Public Resources/Public Knowledge" school. As such, we use public portals and avenues to access knowledge and research. Public libraries, open-access journals and reference material,  public-domain online texts, and Internet research toolsall are at our disposal in our quest to learn and form ideas, and we strongly encourage our teaching staff to structure their classes around these tools. All dialogue in our class spaces happens through freely available communication tools like Gmail, Skype, Blogspot, and YouTube, to name a few . We encourage you to click your way through our site. Experiment. Explore. Try it, love it!
