BLANK HARDBOUND JOURNALS

OLP offers clothbound blank journals. Covers are made from chipboard, which is stronger than the traditional bookboard, and cotton Palencia broadcloth. Pages can be glued or page gatherings can be sewn. Spines and cover tags can be personalized so that your journal or ledger is unique. The cloth colors are berry red, navy blue, moss green, sky blue, and sunflower yellow. All hardbound journals must be "half bound", which means that in addition to the cloth covering, they have spine bands, corner "boots", and cover tags. BLANK SOFTBOUND JOURNALS

OLP offers paperback blank journals. Covers are gloss photo-quality, with black/white or color printing. All softbound journals must be "quarter bound", which means that they have spine bands. Cover tags are optional. To see an example of a quarter-bound book, click here.

Spine band color options: Berry Red, Leather Brown, and Moss Green.

Dimensions: 8.5 by 5.5 inches (half-size of copy paper); 8.5 X 11 inches (full size of copy paper)

Prices: From $15 to $20, depending on the number of pages and customization of spine/cover-tag printing

CUSTOM PRINTING & REBINDING

The bindery can also print hardbound or softbound books on a low-volume basis for individual customers who wish to preserve personal documents. Low volume is from 1 printed/bound copy to 100. All printing is done on acid-free paper. Please see the above information for the specifications of a hardbound or softbound OLP book. (NOTE: These items are printed, bound, and distributed only to the owner on an private-buyer basis and are not published by OLP in any way. Also, no ISBN or ISSN numbers are sold and/or distributed by OLP to authors whose work has not already been chosen for publication through OLP.)

The bindery can also do repair work on damaged spines of existing hardbound or leather-bound books, and can turn almost any paperback book into a hardbound book.
